Weist-Barron-Ryan Rising Stars Program

Weist-Barron-Ryan is a family-owned acting school and casting agency located in Atlantic County, NJ since 1980 and Cumberland County, NJ since 2022. A few recent projects we have cast are Halle Berry's directorial debut "Bruised" which was shot in Atlantic City in the fall of 2019 and was recently purchased by Netflix, and "Death Saved My Life" starring Meagan Good which was shot in Cherry Hill in the fall of 2020 and recently aired on Lifetime, and in 2022 "Inappropriate Behavior" an autism awareness film starring Bobby Cannavale, Robert De Niro and Whoopi Goldberg which we had the pleasure of casting over 30 of our Rising Stars in.

Since 2013, we have opened our doors to a group that is near and dear to our hearts. Individuals with Developmental Disabilities have become a huge part of our lives and one of our favorite parts of the company. We train students with autism, behavior disorders, brain injury, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, fetal alcohol syndrome, intellectual disabilities, and more. Our program offers a wide variety of opportunities that we are confident will meet the goals and needs of all of our students. Whether students participate for fun, want to work on self-confidence, are serious about entering the industry, or all of the above, we are confident that the Weist-Barron-Ryan Rising Stars Program will be what they are looking for.
