Join us for a powerful and accessible conversation about how migration affects mental health, presented in Spanish. We’ll explore the emotional challenges many Latin individuals face, such as trauma, migratory grief, discrimination, family conflict, and acculturative stress, while also celebrating the cultural strengths that sustain our communities: familism, faith, resilience, and collective support.
Participants will learn about:
- The impact of migration on emotional well-being
- Strategies to cope with stress and adapt to a new environment
- How and where to access support regardless of immigration status
- Local and community resources are available
